Home Assistant stops leaving Blink alarm controls showing their previous state for up to five minutes after an arm or disarm command. The connection reads the alarm module’s state immediately; a camera’s motion switch records a successful command and lets the next poll correct it if necessary.
In the contributor’s test on Home Assistant 2026.10.2 with one sync module, arm, disarm and motion-switch changes appeared within about 0.2 to 0.3 seconds with this correction and a companion refresh-rate change. Previously, the tested arm command took five minutes to appear.
