Home Assistant’s Teslemetry connection adds an opt-in Labs preview for switching a compatible vehicle’s charge-on-solar mode on or off and setting its lower charging limit. The upper limit uses the vehicle’s existing charge-limit control.
The new controls keep an assumed state because the API cannot read back the feature’s live settings. Their last requested values are stored together so disabling one entity does not leave the other sending an outdated limit. The vehicle needs the required account permission.
