Home Assistant represents Matter blinds that only tilt, such as the Aqara C100, as tilt controls instead of lift controls. Their state can follow the tilt position instead of remaining unknown, and the interface shows the matching buttons.

Automations and scripts using ordinary cover open, close, stop or toggle actions need the corresponding tilt actions. Opened and closed device triggers and conditions are no longer offered for these devices; state triggers and conditions remain the alternative.

The corrected representation also exposes existing limitations elsewhere: Assist open and close requests stop working, Google Assistant becomes query-only, and Alexa loses stop and on/off commands. Alexa open/close and HomeKit tilt control require tilt-position support. Covers that lift, including combined lift-and-tilt devices, are unchanged.
