Home Assistant adds Seafile as a backup destination for people running their own file-sync server. Each library has a Store backups option and a configurable backup folder, letting an owner choose which libraries receive backups.
The connection also reports library size, file count and last modification time. Sign-in exchanges the password for a device token rather than saving the password, supports a two-factor code when needed, and offers sign-in again if that token is revoked.
Chunked uploads and progress reporting accommodate proxies with upload-size limits, while downloads stream from the selected library.
