Home Assistant repairs Model Context Protocol connections made through Home Assistant Cloud or another address outside its configured URL list. The server could fail during the initial connection while trying to construct its icon address, before the connected AI application could use its tools.

The connection uses the address of the incoming request for its icon. Related handling recognizes Home Assistant Cloud custom domains too.
