ESPHome adds direct serial control for Airton air conditioners that use a connection to their original Wi-Fi module. An ESP board replaces that module and talks to the air conditioner, providing a wired alternative to ESPHome’s existing Airton infrared control.
The component combines climate control with switches for the display, ionizer, health, sleep and eco settings, plus readings for total usage time and protocol revision. Guillaume DELVIT makes his first contribution to ESPHome with the addition, tested on ESP32.
