ESPHome corrects schedules whose ranges wrap around the end of a day or week. A Saturday-to-Sunday range previously matched every day, while an hour range from 22 to 2 matched all 24 hours. They now select the intended weekend or late-night hours.
Related validation rejects impossible range endpoints and invalid repetition steps before a device is built. That prevents malformed schedules from either crashing validation or silently never firing.
