Music Assistant connects its selected-player volume controls to the desktop app’s AppleScript interface on macOS. Scripts can set or change the volume of the selected local or remote player alongside the existing playback commands.

David Bishop’s frontend work completes the matching desktop support added earlier in the week. Requests handle missing players and timeouts without leaving the application unresponsive; the addition does not change the player’s on-screen controls.
