ESPHome lets ATM90E32 energy-meter builders set the voltage sag, overvoltage, overcurrent and frequency limits behind their status readings. It also corrects a default limit that could wrap around and report overvoltage at an ordinary 120 volts on boards with a low voltage gain.
The limits follow calibration changes instead of staying tied to the previous gain. Related calibration handling verifies the chip’s settings before saving them and restores the previous values if saving fails.
