Home Assistant’s Android app repairs a failure that could leave a dimmable light’s Device Control repeatedly sending an off command when tapped. After an on-and-off cycle, Android could retain the old touch handling instead of turning the light back on.
The control keeps the same type of brightness-capable interface in both states, preventing that stale handling. Wear OS continues to hide its brightness slider while the light is off.
