Home Assistant changes Hanna’s acid/base and chlorine dosing readings so long-term statistics add up the volume delivered across dosing cycles. The device’s counter rises during a cycle and returns to zero afterward, so treating it as a momentary measurement did not describe its behaviour correctly.
The readings are renamed from flow rate to injection volume, while existing entity identifiers stay unchanged. Existing installations receive a statistics repair because the way these two readings are counted changes.
