Music Assistant’s Squeezebox connection library corrects the status messages that left JiveLite screens showing a stationary progress bar with no elapsed or remaining time. The player had interpreted a field containing zero as a signal that playback was still waiting to begin.
The correction reports that waiting state only while audio is buffering and removes an empty audio-quality label above the bar. In the contributor’s piCorePlayer comparison, the repaired screen showed 1:31 elapsed where the original remained at the start.
