Home Assistant keeps SmartThings device readings moving when its access token expires. A connection could continue receiving keepalive messages while actual device events stopped, leaving readings frozen or a device marked unavailable until someone reloaded the integration.
The integration checks the token every minute and renews it through its existing sign-in handling. Failed renewals are retried, and a rejected refresh token prompts authentication again. Paol0B makes a first contribution to Home Assistant Core with the correction.
