Music Assistant adds an experimental Auracast player connection for broadcasting audio to compatible Bluetooth LE Audio receivers. The connection needs a supported serial-connected Bluetooth controller with broadcasting capability; it is not a general connection to ordinary Bluetooth speakers.
Setup checks the selected controller before creating the player. Playback, pause and software volume controls are included, with a configurable name shown to nearby receivers. Yago Fontoura do Rosário makes his first contribution to Music Assistant’s server with the addition.
