Home Assistant can stop a camera stream even when the camera keeps sending video frames with frozen timestamps. Previously the stream waited for a usable frame before checking whether it should stop. An idle camera connection could stay open indefinitely, and a Home Assistant restart could wait through several shutdown timeouts.
The contributor measured a restart on Home Assistant OS with a Bambu Lab P2S camera open at 33 seconds after the correction, down from 241 seconds. A separate local camera stream reproduced the same failure when its timestamps stopped advancing.
