A conversation agent connected through Wyoming can tell Home Assistant when a spoken response calls for an answer. On a compatible Assist satellite such as Voice Preview Edition, the listener can answer the question without repeating the wake word.
The decision comes from the agent that asked the question. Home Assistant passes its request to continue through to the satellite. Existing agents that send no such signal still finish the turn normally. Andrea Genovese makes a first contribution to Home Assistant Core with this work.
