Battery-free Friends of Hue switches gain button events in ZHA

ZHA’s device handlers recognize the EnOcean PTM 215Z module found in Friends of Hue wall switches from makers including Senic and Gira, NodOn, Vimar and Niko. These switches could previously pair as an unidentified device with no button entities for automations.

Each of the four rocker contacts reports when it is pressed and released. Pressing the two upper contacts together, or the two lower ones, sends events for both. The handler was checked with a Senic/Gira Friends of Hue switch.
