Home Assistant reduces history entries from UniFi devices that report changing CPU, memory and temperature values every few seconds. Routine changes wait at least fifteen seconds between readings, while larger jumps are recorded immediately.
In a replay of seven days from Ivan Alekseev’s Cloud Gateway Fiber, CPU records fell from 1,742 to 507 per hour and memory records from 2,299 to 223. Reconnection and availability changes still appear immediately. The measurements describe that gateway, not a guaranteed reduction for every UniFi installation. This is Ivan Alekseev’s first contribution to Home Assistant Core.
