Sendspin’s Python server limits the audio work a connected client can demand. A small compressed FLAC chunk could previously expand to more than a gigabyte of audio, while repeated format changes could leave unused encoders consuming memory.
The library rejects oversized source formats and audio sent too far ahead of real time, checks compressed chunks before decoding, and drops encoders no speaker uses. These protections apply to applications using the Python library; they do not establish an update in every Sendspin product.
