Franck Nijhof followed the new local SolarEdge integration with its choice and toggle controls. Six new selections cover storage behavior and export policy; two disabled-by-default installer switches describe external production and allow an export limit to become a minimum-import target.

Those controls can share a packed device register, so every write now passes through one lock. Without it, a select and switch changed at nearly the same time could each start from an older value and the second write could undo the first.

The integration also rechecks attached hardware every fifteen minutes. When the inverter reports that a meter or battery was added or removed, Home Assistant reloads the entry so the corresponding devices and entities follow automatically. A silent block or failed probe does not trigger removal, protecting device history from a transient timeout.
