Home Assistant’s Sofar integration is gaining an inverter remote on/off control, privacy-redacted diagnostics and a way to change its network address without deleting it. The reconfigure flow preserves entity customizations and history, then verifies the inverter serial number so an entry cannot silently move to a different device.

Franck Nijhof followed the new local SolarEdge integration with its choice and toggle controls. Six new selections cover storage behavior and export policy; two disabled-by-default installer switches describe external production and allow an export limit to become a minimum-import target.
