People using Matter.js Server’s dashboard gain dedicated controls for compatible electric-vehicle chargers and energy-managing appliances. Chargers can expose charging limits, diagnostics and a weekly charging schedule. Bidirectional charging controls appear only when the device supports them.
The dashboard also turns an appliance’s reported energy forecast into timed stages, separates expected consumption from generation and marks calculated energy totals as estimates. A companion control switches between the optimization modes the appliance advertises and displays its reason if it rejects a request.
Ludovic BOUÉ contributes the connected panels, reviewed by Ingo Fischer. The charging panel was tested with a simulated Matter charger. These controls belong to the server’s own dashboard, rather than Home Assistant’s device controls.
