Mac automation scripts gain a way to control Music Assistant’s desktop app. Its AppleScript interface accepts play, pause, stop, next-track and previous-track commands, and reports whether the player is playing, paused or stopped.
The commands use the app’s existing playback controls and follow Spotify’s scripting terminology. This is Paulus Schoutsen’s first contribution to the Music Assistant desktop-app repository.
