Music Assistant fixes an hourly library check that could leave the interface stuck on “Authenticating.” Comparing thousands of tracks with the same title held up the database, stopping other library requests—including the count needed to finish signing in.
OzGav narrows duplicate checks to useful comparisons across different music sources and skips empty titles or titles shared by more than 200 tracks. In a test library of 40,000 tracks, with 6,000 sharing one title, the query fell from 55 seconds to under a second. A library with only one source skips the check entirely.
