Music Assistant stops one household member’s favourite and library changes from being copied into other people’s music-service accounts. A shared library item could carry links to several accounts, so starring a track or removing it from the library affected them all.
Contributor pcc0x limits those changes to the listener’s own sources and permitted whole-home sources, extending the account controls reported on September 13. In the reported family setup, one click marked a song as a favourite in three separate Navidrome accounts.
The correction protects the connected accounts. The heart shown inside Music Assistant remains shared between users; this does not introduce personal favourites within its own interface. Marcel van der Veldt reviewed the work.
