Fronius owners gain an option that prevents a Home Assistant AC power limit from remaining in force indefinitely after the system stops or loses contact. With the option enabled, the inverter drops the limit an hour after its last renewal and returns to its own control priorities.

Makers can restore saved brightness and colour independently, while an ignored startup setting takes effect.

ESPHome lets makers choose which light settings return after a restart: keep a saved value or supply a replacement for each property. Brightness and colour can have separate choices, and the on-or-off state can also be inverted. The new restore_state setting replaces a fixed menu of combinations.

ESPHome adds an explicit, temporary exception for installing encrypted-update firmware on a device that cannot yet receive encrypted uploads. It gives makers a single-install migration path alongside the existing two-step approach.
