Fronius owners gain an option that prevents a Home Assistant AC power limit from remaining in force indefinitely after the system stops or loses contact. With the option enabled, the inverter drops the limit an hour after its last renewal and returns to its own control priorities.
Home Assistant renews an active limit every 15 minutes, leaving room for a normal restart or short outage. The setting starts off and is available during setup or reconfiguration. It applies only to the AC power limit; battery charging and discharging limits cannot use this fallback.
