ESPHome removes the contents of password-mode text fields from its web server’s data responses. The interface displayed a mask, but another field in the same response still carried the real value, exposing the secret to anyone able to read that response.

ESPHome Device Builder adds browser-based USB installation for Raspberry Pi Pico boards and for nRF52 devices that use the Adafruit bootloader. Makers can compile a configuration and install its firmware from the dashboard. The nRF52 installer also joins the standalone ESPHome Web tool.

Home Assistant preserves the start of a history graph after a temporary database interruption. Previously, recovery could make devices with no changes during the selected period appear as empty rows, even though their recorded data was intact.
