Commands take priority over background updates, and a missing reply no longer automatically repeats an action.
An action started on Apple Watch could run on the paired iPhone about 50 seconds later, after the watch had already reported failure. Home Assistant gives user commands priority over sensor reports and watch-face updates, and removes a request from the waiting queue if it is cancelled or expires before sending.

Makers can hide an unusable automatic mode or explicitly retain it on a cooling-only unit.

Makers configuring infrared air conditioners in ESPHome gain an explicit choice of whether to offer the combined heat-and-cool mode. The mode stops appearing by default when a configuration disables heating or cooling, avoiding a control that the equipment may not support.

Forecast.Solar’s Python library groups estimates by the solar installation’s local date.

Forecast.Solar’s Python library corrects daily production estimates for installations outside UTC. It previously requested totals grouped by UTC date, which could move a local morning’s forecast into the preceding day and give misleading figures for today and tomorrow.
