Music Assistant adds an experimental connection to Teufel Raumfeld multiroom systems. Each room appears as a player, and grouping those players creates or changes the corresponding zone on the Raumfeld host. Playback, volume and mute controls are included, along with line-in selection where a room’s device supports it.
The default continuous-stream mode supports gapless playback and crossfades across grouped rooms. In that mode, the Raumfeld app follows the track title but its clock runs across the whole queue; Music Assistant keeps the correct progress. Turning the mode off restores the Raumfeld app’s per-track clock at the cost of short gaps.
Contributor Simanias tested setup, playback and grouping on a real four-room system. This is their first contribution to the Music Assistant server, reviewed by OzGav.
