Music Assistant can play podcast episodes from a browse folder, including Pocket Casts’ Up Next and In Progress lists. Those folders previously discarded episodes and could report that there was nothing to play, blocking an automation that continued a mobile listening queue on a home speaker.
Episodes begin at the listener’s saved position. A companion correction also applies saved positions when the queue advances automatically to another podcast episode or audiobook, instead of starting it at zero and risking a later pause overwriting its bookmark.
Folder playback still follows the queue’s shuffle setting. Ordinary radio stations in a folder are supported too, but dynamic stations that generate their own tracks remain outside this route.
