Home Assistant adds infrared control for compatible OSRAM and LEDVANCE colour lights using the supported 24-button remote command set. An infrared emitter already configured in Home Assistant supplies on-and-off control, preset colours and Flash, Strobe or Smooth effects.
An optional receiver can follow supported commands from the physical remote and update the displayed state. Infrared cannot confirm that the light received a command, and brightness control is not supported. Colours chosen on the colour wheel map to the nearest remote preset.
