Home Assistant fetches Dropbox backup details eight at a time instead of waiting for each download before starting the next. In Ruslan Sayfutdinov’s test with thirty backups, collecting that metadata took 3.4 seconds instead of 23 seconds.
The change speeds the backup list, including the backups page. It does not change backup creation or restoration; limiting concurrency to eight avoids sending an unbounded batch of requests to Dropbox.
