Home Assistant adds a filter to media-browser folders containing ten or more items when their source does not support search. A long television channel list can be narrowed by name instead of scrolling through every channel.
The filter checks the items already loaded and ignores capitalization and accents, so typing “stefan” also finds “Ștefan”. Sources with their own search keep it, and moving to another folder clears the filter.
