Home Assistant fixes a schedule-helper failure during the repeated hour when daylight saving time ends. A timer could select the first occurrence of a time that had already passed and immediately reschedule itself thousands of times per second; it now chooses the upcoming occurrence.
Related time handling preserves automation matches when a timezone moves back by half an hour or changes off the hour, including Lord Howe and Chatham. Statistics also retain a final day, week or month containing a clock change when the available readings end in that period’s first hour.
