Home Assistant’s Windows installer stops looking up PowerShell by its program name. That lookup could run a different powershell.exe placed beside the installer, such as in Downloads, with the installer’s administrator privileges.
It instead uses the full path returned by Windows for its system directory. This closes that command-selection route without relying on the contents of the installer’s folder.
