Music Assistant connects to AudioMuse-AI to find music by its sound and, optionally, by a free-text request. The open-source analysis server supplies similar tracks for radio mode and an “Inspired by recently played” row; its optional search uses audio analysis and lyrics.
Setup connects to a running AudioMuse-AI server and maps its results to the matching music source. Jellyfin and Navidrome support is joined by a correction for Plex’s different track identifiers. Similarity plugins also take priority over suggestions from the track’s music service, so installing one actually changes which recommendations are chosen.
NeptuneHub makes a first contribution to Music Assistant’s server with the new connection, with Marvin Schenkel completing the Plex support and recommendation ordering.
