Music Assistant limits each Tidal account to one simultaneous source stream. A second room trying to open another stream must wait for the slot or receives a stream-limit error.
Setup also refuses to connect the same account through another Tidal instance. Existing duplicate connections keep working, but reconnecting one is refused until the other is removed.
