Home Assistant adds calendar groups that combine several calendars into one read-only calendar. Work, school and family events can share a single entity, configured through the interface with a preview or through YAML.
The group shows the current event or the next one across its members and reports active while any member has an event under way. Nested groups use each underlying calendar once. Events still have to be created, edited or deleted in their original calendars.
