Home Assistant lets Forecast.Solar follow panels on a camper, caravan or other moving installation. The forecast can follow Home Assistant’s home location and take panel direction and tilt from sensors instead of requiring the integration to be removed and added again after moving.
Location changes refresh the forecast no more often than its update interval, protecting the service’s request allowance from continuous GPS updates. While running, an unreadable angle sensor keeps its last reading; after a restart or reload, forecasting waits until the required sensors have readings.
