Home Assistant’s Android app fixes a crash when switching from its internal address to the external one, such as when the phone leaves Wi-Fi. The dashboard keeps its existing connection to the app while navigating to the other address.
The contributor reproduced the crash in seven of eight network switches on a Galaxy S25 Ultra and saw none in eight switches with the correction.
