Home Assistant’s WattWächter connection expands from electricity to the WattWächter Gas and Wasser meter readers. It exposes gas or water volume and flow rates; gas devices also provide a power reading calculated by their firmware.
The counters distinguish correcting a meter reading from replacing the meter, so a downward correction is not mistaken for a new meter’s full consumption. Switching a reader from gas to water or back creates the relevant sensors and removes those for the previous medium.
