Music Assistant repairs both ends of an announcement on its native Snapcast playback path. Short spoken messages finish playing before the music returns, and seekable music resumes at the position where the announcement interrupted it.
Previously, the music continued unheard during the message, so listeners lost that part of the track. A separate timing problem could cut off the end of a short announcement while audio was still buffered at the speakers. The updated handling waits for that audio before restoring the previous stream and volume.
Radio, live sources and synchronized group members still return to the live stream. The short-message buffer correction applies to native Snapcast handling; external Snapcast servers do not yet supply the buffer information it needs.
