A Music Assistant speaker group resumes playback on a remaining speaker when the speaker leading it drops off the network. Previously, trying to stop the unreachable leader could fail and abort the handover, leaving the group showing that it was playing while the music stayed silent.

Marcel van der Veldt makes the group rebuild even when stopping or disconnecting its former leader fails. This extends earlier work on deliberately powering off a group leader to a speaker that cannot be reached at all. A related Sonos recovery path still needs verification on physical speakers.
