Bruno Pantaleão Gonçalves expanded the Home Assistant iOS energy widget beyond grid and solar. The design stacks battery discharge above the chart axis and charging below it; gas appears as a separate figure because homes may measure it by volume rather than energy.

The widget uses the same consumption math as the energy dashboard, so charging a battery is not also counted as household demand. It combines electricity and gas costs, and all four sources still fit on the small widget and Lock Screen accessories.

The work continues Gonçalves’s August run on the widget, after earlier improvements to Lock Screen sizing, missing-data reloads, and period and refresh-time information.
