Overcast listeners who never created a password get a way to connect their existing account to Music Assistant. Setup displays a QR code to scan with an iPhone camera; approving the request in Overcast lets Music Assistant pick up the session.
The original setup required an email address and password, excluding accounts created only in the app. Those credentials remain an alternative for people who have them. If an app-authorized session expires, the error points back to setup instead of asking for a password the account never had.
OzGav adds the sign-in flow, with approval from Marvin Schenkel. Subscriptions and listening progress still flow one way into Music Assistant: playback there does not update the Overcast account.
