An accidental swipe back no longer has to mean rebuilding an automation. Home Assistant’s automation, script and scene editors ask before abandoning unsaved changes when someone uses Android’s back gesture, the browser Back button or Alt+Left. Declining keeps the editor open; confirming leaves in the same step.
Music Assistant
A QR code opens setup to listeners whose Overcast accounts exist only in the app.

Overcast listeners who never created a password get a way to connect their existing account to Music Assistant. Setup displays a QR code to scan with an iPhone camera; approving the request in Overcast lets Music Assistant pick up the session.

Households following EnergyZero electricity prices get a choice between hourly and quarter-hourly readings in Home Assistant. The setting applies to today’s and tomorrow’s price data and the existing electricity sensors; the next-price reading follows the selected one-hour or 15-minute interval.

A lighting scene can look wrong when a command changes color and brightness together. ESPHome restores the information Home Assistant needs to dim compatible lights independently of their color channels when they communicate through MQTT, a messaging protocol used to connect devices.
