Home Assistant's Apple iCloud integration adds editable Apple Reminders lists using the account already configured. Each list becomes a to-do list whose items can be created, renamed, completed or deleted, with descriptions and due dates carried alongside them. Changes sync back to the user's Apple devices.
Subtasks appear as ordinary items placed beneath their parents, without a nested relationship. Reminders that the integration cannot decrypt under Apple's Advanced Data Protection are omitted, preventing an edit from replacing their real text with unreadable placeholders. Previously deleted lists can still appear as empty lists.
