Music Assistant’s Linux desktop app prevents automatic sleep, screen blanking and automatic locking while music plays, then releases the restriction when playback pauses. A deliberate suspend still works; the KDE fallback prevents blanking and locking but cannot prevent suspend.
Cindi adds those controls, while Peter Grace fixes blank Flatpak windows on affected Wayland desktops. Both make verified first contributions to the desktop-app repository, with David Bishop following up on playback controls and display detection.
