Opening the Home dashboard can bring down Home Assistant in homes that generate large numbers of actions through scripts or external automation tools. Its suggested-controls calculation reads a month of activity at once, potentially allocating gigabytes and exhausting the system’s memory.

Music Assistant’s server gains a way to keep personal music accounts separate from those shared around the house. Each source has an owner and access settings for private use, selected people, all members or guests. Search, browsing and playback respect those choices, and playback prefers the listener’s own account.

Two devices called “Outlet 1” are easier to tell apart when each appears beneath its own power strip. Home Assistant nests device parts beneath their parent in the dashboard card editor, automation target picker and target details; parts without their own area follow the parent’s room.

A mower needs a way to end its current job without immediately returning to its dock. Home Assistant adds a stop action for that purpose, separate from pause, which preserves a task for resuming, and dock, which sends the mower home.

Music Assistant’s Linux desktop app prevents automatic sleep, screen blanking and automatic locking while music plays, then releases the restriction when playback pauses. A deliberate suspend still works; the KDE fallback prevents blanking and locking but cannot prevent suspend.

Bitvis Power Hub owners gain a Home Assistant integration for the reader connected to their smart meter’s home-network port. It listens to the Power Hub’s local network broadcasts for power, energy, voltage and current measurements, creating per-phase or total sensors only when those readings are supplied.

Home Assistant Cloud troubleshooting no longer sends people past a working fix because their browser passes an IPv6 test. Nabu Casa’s revised guidance explains that the browser can test a different machine and network route from the Home Assistant host, where stale addresses can still block sign-in or remote access.

Silla Prism and Besen charger owners gain controls alongside their readings in Home Assistant. Ermanno Baschiera adds a Silla Prism selector for Solar, Normal and Pause, advancing an integration whose first version exposed readings without these controls.
